Title: SKLO or POLISH, great colour & design, ID Pls
Post by: Elmwood on June 01, 2009, 03:53:03 PM
Hi,

Final piece folks and we are quite chuffed with this lovely design.....Might it be Polish, or as with my earlier post (citrine bowl), is it in fact SKLO?

Lovely amythest colour-  6" tall, 4" rim diameter, weighs 653g. Polished rim to base, and an inkwell.   Was hoping it was SKLo but thought the base looked wrong.....

Once again, any info at all is always gratefully received, noted and digested.......

Thankyou, Sharron

Yes it is......

See this ebay listing # 310144250540

I have seen several of them identifed as Lausitzer of Germany, now out of business...

Also in Citrine as on the SKLOunion.com not SKLO page

Hi everyone,

Craig- I am now watching the ebay listing, thankyou.

Many thanks to all for your help & info-  :), we really like this one, and now has a home on our SKLO shelf.

Heres a pic of todays purchases, including the-  "Vaclav HANUS"  vase, Rudolfova glassworks, which was the only one I could instantly id when spotted in a charity shop earlier.

Thankyou all, Sharron

Ah bless you Dirk,

Charity shop it may have been, but I parted with £12 for it, but the "JURNIKL" was £3.

As for the "Ravenhead" vase, and the "LAUSITZER" vase, a mere £2 at a car boot.

At least our learning curve mistakes are not breaking the bank..... Sharron  :)
