Title: Fie fi foam vase

Here is a 6" sommerso vase with a blue inner, a bubbly outer and a clear casing. The rim is cut and polished, so there is no pontil mark. The shape reminds me of Caithness - but I cannot remember ever having seen this use of foam.  Found in Edinburgh - so Scottishness is likely...

Many strange things were done as trials but never made it to production. There were a lot of creative people working there over a long(ish) history.
