Title: glass slab ashtray,double pin dish???thing.

hi,
i got this at the car boot,it has a textured bottom and two pear shaped indents.it is 110mm square.
looks very scandinavian.
i think it looks fantastic,does anyone know who made it please and when.

Ivo, Mal, didn't Pukeburg make stationery sets with that crosshatched base? May be somewhere to start looking?

they would be very small avocados,
i will look in to pukeberg,what a name eh,it suits the piece in a way because if you look at it too long it makes you dizzy!

I'd also look at Zwiesel for this double pipe holder - but it could have been made by any number of glass houses. I'm not sure you can find this out, it would have been made for a third party who distributes in tobacconists.

oh well, it still looks good as a piece of art even if i don't smoke a pipe.
