Title: Czechoslovakian Vase ID, please
Post by: uphoosier on June 13, 2009, 10:26:30 PM
This vase is 8" tall and acid etched " Czechoslovakia"   The pontil is ground and polished. There once was a thread here that mentioned a large percentage of glass marked with a semi-circle mark was from a particular maker.  I've searched, but I cannot find that thread.  Any ideas on maker?  Thanks for looking.

The semicircular mark is one that Kralik used. I haven't seen this vase, but the mark looks like it is theirs.

Definitely a Kralik mark. They are the only ones known to have used this style mark. It also dates the vase to post WW1.  Probably late 20's based on style.
