Title: Irish pickle jar?

I purchased this item recently for my sister, Upon getting it home i noticed there was a great deal of wear to the the base and it reminded me of irish glass designs ive observed in millars books... The item really is worn to the base so i would guess at it being circa 19thc, i would love to hear other peoples views on the item as regards to if it a pickle jar? is it irish? and the date of it? last but not least the base is very flat no blown pontil mark here very  neatly constructed and weighty piece of glass :thup:

Hi Brad you wouldnt get many pickled Irish men into that jar . :chky: :angel:

Hi sorry the vase is 6.5"high.
