Hi there
ive had this weigt for nearly 10 years now, and never been able to get any info on the designer. Its a really well made little weight with a pale blue and white centre which is swirled and feathered together making it really pretty to look at
The base is signed Bodley 6 dec 83
about 7cms tall
has anybody any info on the maker??

I have a couple of weights, currently packed away, made by USA artist, Rollin Bodley so that could be who made your apple.

You're most welcome :) I also recall that my 2 were made in the '80s as well.

made by Rollin Bodley also known as Bud Bodley, had a shop on the west side of Toledo, OH that he bought from a fellow named Paul Craft that also made paperweights for many years.
Bud wuit making glass in the early 80 after he had a kidney transplant that didn't work and then he had a second that did work. I haven't heard anything of him in years, but he also used to work for a company that made laser glass in Toledo, OH.
Bud was a a great guy. I used to stop by and see him and his wife occasionally, back in the 70's.
