Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me identify a glass horse which I bought recently and also advise on the approximate age. I have assumed this is Murano. Please excuse if I use the wrong terminology when describing the glass. The horse measures 9 inches high by 9 inches from nose to tail. The body legs and head appear to be a clear glass but have a surface texture which is like a gilt and silver foil (as if the glass was dipped or coated in a foil coating and then stretched which has then left a crackled effect). The mane and lips are in red glass and the tail is red with white cloudy streaks. The eyes are a white glass circle overlaid with orange glass. The insides of all of the legs have a ridge running from top to bottom which can be felt with the fingers. Thanks to anyone who can help me identify this piece.

I agree Murano and stretched foil. I would say that is a very nice piece - and hope Anita will have more detailed information....
