This is a regular item from the latter years of Perthshire Paperweights. They made quite a few of these and in varying sizes.

My first Perthshire was one of these. It was sold to me as a 'millefiori marble'

Peter McDougall has recently started making these. They're very pretty with the variety and deeper color of the canes he has.

I have a similar paperweight which was sold to me as "probably Murano". Have you examined yours under a UV lamp?

I will try to post photographs if I can get the files small enough...

Malwodyn:

I will be very interested in seeing your pictures.

A couple years ago I obtained a second Perthshire millefiori marble that was sold to me as Murano. I got a great deal on it.

I have one with a  green ground.  Perthshire, and the first "paperweight" I ever bought on Ebay as opposed to Larry Selman auctions. Sure started a trend...
