Title: Maker of Turquoise Glass Water Jug ?

I've been told these delightful jugs were whitefriars, then dartington, then whitefriars, now today neither!

Please can someone help?

Definitely neither. We have very little luck with IDing jugs, as they were/are made so many places. Krosno in Poland and Empoli in Italy are both places where jugs were and are handmade like this one, assuming that's a nice shiny pontil mark on the base.

Thanks for your help, yes your assumption is right, does have nicely polished pontil.
