Matte bases = Chinese

they both have clear bases the one on the right has a large bubble form in the middle not very well shown in photo, also their bases are not circular like some of the others but have an almost stright edge on one side, One has a sticker but is unreadable.. does this make any difference, they do seem much better quality than the others?

sorry, plus they are both over 9cms in height a lot larger that the others?

These are both nicer quality modern Chinese. The quality in Chinese glass varies greatly with some being very clear with well finished bases and other with yellowish glass, rough bases. The lampwork in them can be amazing or very sloppy.
