got some more undentified non- flying objects

Hi Ruth
The duck is Murano with an interesting opal layer.

The Swans ...there may be Swan Experts "out there" but none in here at the moment. I do know of people who are experts in Whitefriars swans but I don't think any of yours are ...though I could be wrong.

A couple of the pics are quite dark so it's difficult to tell. One of your pics is repeated.

There seem to be some similarities in head and neck shape with Pairpoint swans but that's just an observation.

I suspect that many makers made swans and that many look similar. There are very few shown in my books and none like yours.

Thanks, I will take better pics when the sun reappears. Are there any Internet sites for swan collectors that you are aware of? I could not find much.  I think that probably many are 'friggers'. The colours of the darker ones are blue, purple and brown.

Anne,

If you join up to the Yahoo group glassaholics, there used to be a fellow who posted there called Gary who collected swans, i.e. D&M, pierpoint, etc. Many of his swans are in the photoalbum, which at least offers you a clue to i.d.

It's a very posting heavy, social group so if you do join up don't choose to have all the postings emailed to you, or your mailbox will overflow very quickly!

Actually Anne, I've just gone through Gary's 42 photos of a million swans and nothing immediately jumped out at me as being similar to yours. You might like to post them on the group and see what they say.

Hi , thanks, I can see that none of mine are likely to be WF! They lack the 'bump' on the beak, as one identifier.
Several are the work of individuals at the 'end of the day'. They have the 'ash' to prove it  

It's a good resource though and 'bookmarked'.
I have now no space left to collect any more glass and am going to sell some pieces. not swans though, I'm still collecting those.
