I am posting pictures of Murano animals that I've identified at a new site, the Murano Zoo. The site will be growing with time. Pictures of Murano animals that have been positively identified are welcome in the zoo. Just email good pictures and proof of attribution to me. Of course, I'll credit the person submitting the pictures. The link is http://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/. The site is intended to help people who are trying to figure out who made their Murano animals.

Anita:
Thanks for a very useful resource. I'm sure it will grow. The JI bird is one of the nicest JI pieces I've seen.

Thanks for looking, David. I put the site together this weekend, so it still needs a good bit of work. I was surprised to find that more than half the animals I have still have no attribution. Some of them are rare, so I hope I'll be able to track down who did them eventually. I should mention that the site will always be free to use and that any pictures submitted to put in the zoo will remain the property of the person sending them.
I hope that people will find the site useful. It's nice to be able to do something like this that is actually fun.

For something that was quickly put together that is an amazing useful site. Thank you so much for providing it. Could you put a link in your profile sig?

Thank you for the compliment, Ivo. Your good words make the work worthwhile. It is a good idea to add the site to my signature. I don't plan on advertising the site, so hopefully people who need it will find it on the groups.
