Title: I.D. for signed studio art form

Hello!

Does anyone recognise the maker of this art form please?

The front edge is highly polished while the remainder of the exterior has a very strange soft texture which looks and feels like sanded pine.

There is a signature, but I can't make it out.

Looks like Catherine Hough to me.

Having looked at her web-site it looks like a variant of "Nucleus".
