I thought this was fairly unusual. It it is made from really thick glass (up to 1cm thick) . It has a ground/polished base with a tudor rose. It is 12cm high.
Any information appreciated.
Thank you ,
David

I saw a flat square thick plate with the same texture and central rose motif last week in a charity shop, no label or sig on it, but it looks Scandi possibly... ?

I thought you would have remembered this one Anne ;)
Very late Bagley, possibly Rockware http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6760.0.html

Do you remember I had a vase with this Bagley rose on the base that was dremmelled with Tapio Wirkkala!!!! Another one of the faker Chrism's possibly.

Thank you Pip, Christine, Anne,
You've certainly sorted this one. Unlike the piece mentioned in the previous posts, this one really is bright, clear scandinavian looking glass.
Thank you
David

Hello, I have an ashtray with the same rose in the bottom, Its about 8 inches across and very heavy. It too has a tinge to the glass, its in the roof somewhere, I'll find it if anyone wants to see a photo.I picked it up on a car boot a few months ago for 50p, I don't smoke but I loved the rose pattern in the base, seems nicely made. Been meaning to find out who made it but it got packed away!!! Cheers cheryl.

You know, something dinged Bagley when I looked at it in Grange but then dismissed that as I'd forgotten about that hankie vase thread! :-[
