Title: Might these lovely cased knobbly ashtrays be Murano or who?

These were purchased new in 1965 in Japan.

I bought Murano in Spain a few years back, OK I know it's practically next door, but could this be export from Murano ...or who?

They stand 2.5 inches and measure just over 4 inches across, pontil is ground and polished
