Probably something like stem vases - 29 cms. tall and about 4.5 cms. wide - with clear unmarked circular bases. I've a horrible feeling they are very recent, and make me think of Habitat/Chinese/T. K Max or similar, although I never frequent these places. They came from a b.s., and the reason I bought them was because one guy had a pair for a lot of money - then I saw this pair for a couple of quid, so thought I had better buy them and waste two pounds rather than find out later I had missed something good. If anyone recognizes them, shall be grateful for an attribution please. Thanks as always. Paul S.

Hi Paul.. I think they are recent Chinese production maybe 'Dalian'

ughhhhhhhhh - thanks Paul. I thought as much - oh well back they go to the charity shop. Just goes to show that I shud stick to what I know (which obviously isn't much at times) cheers Paul S.

thank you Anne - I sensed they were modern, but greed and lack of experience made pick them up just in case they had a value. Something doesn't have to be old to be worth having, but 'being buried in the sand for a thousand years' does help. Oddly enough, in my travels round the boot sales I hadn't come across them before, so maybe they are not that common. They will go to a new home where they will be appreciated. Paul S.

They are an uncommon shape from this range. Yellow and white are other base colours, all usually described as Murano!

Hi I bought one of these on a boot sale a few weeks ago thinking it was Murano, mine is a nice shade of pink. It may not be worth that much but still pretty.
Least I know what is really is now, thanks, Cheryl.

I think I forgot blue as well...

Updating to add, that I saw a labelled one in a charity shop in Morecambe yesterday and stated SNOWFLAKES (note the plural form!) and Made in China and then some Chinese characters. If the vase hadn't been overpriced anyhow I'd have bought it for the label... ::)
