Title: the ugliest vase in the world?

It maybe but I like it!It has gilding,enamelling,the red spot is a glass cabachon and the blue flower is POTTERY,there is a pink one on the other side,I wasn't sure which forum to put this in probably should have kept it to myself every body will want one now!Who was responsible for this?

i´m really not sure, where it has been made, but your definitely right on
this board here, because the flower IMHO isn´t pottery but raised enamel.

Keith, I believe that Ivo is the owner of the Ugliest Vase in the World actually - we had a vote once and he won!   :24:  Mind you, I think your vase is a real contender for the prize now!   ;) :hiclp:

OK well this is the one that won last year's contest - but as we consider making this an annual event (The ugliest vase of 2009, the worst buy of 2009, the grossest e-bay description etc) there are new opportunities for all!

Been trying to find info on Bormioli of Parma but only get modern glassware any extra info please,Keith.
