Title: Is this ashtray / bowl Murano?

Hi,

I bought this recently on ebay, it was listed as Whitefriars.
I checked with whitefriars.com and they said it wasn't Whitefriars but was probably Murano.
Can you help please.

Hi, David. Your ashtray looks like it could be Murano. It is a generic form, so unless someone has one like it, it is hard to say who might have made it. Several companies in several countries made similar ashtrays. I would say there is a good chance that yours is Murano, but I don't know for sure.
