Don't know where to start with this vase (assuming that is what it is), heavy, with a solid base and curious upturned rim. I would guess it was mould blown and the rim hot finished. Not sure what to make of the shape, I thought sort of 50/60s space age but then I thought 70s mushroom but probably much later in date than that if using wear as a guide. For origins I thought Czech then Polish, could be from Ikea, so to stop confusing myself I have stopped guessing.
It is almost definitely 15cm tall and a little less in diameter.
Thanks, John.

That vibrant green is also seen in pieces made in Empoli, Italy - not that I know if yours is! ;D

Thanks Anne, I had wondered about Empoli (Dartington too ::)), when I read 'Empoli' I thought maybe it is one of those bon bon dishes but without a lid.
