I hadnt found anything exciting for months, then saw this lovely irridescent engraved perfume bottle
in a local antiques shop yesterday,
i vaguely recognised signature, Lundberg Studios 1985 LS050113. splashed out £24.
Googled when i got home, found the website, a California top studio !, I remember seeing two enthusiastic paperweight collectors at Birmingham glass fair who loved lundberg stuff.
http://www.lundbergstudios.com/
Was pleased with my purchase, but then it got better, its signed by the engraver, Lubomir Richter,
who i have discovered was the master engraver at Steuben, also working for Orient & Flume, and Lundberg.
Hope you like it!
Cheers
Andy ;D

The engraving is beautiful. This is the first engraved Lundberg piece I've seen. The studio does some good work. The engraving added so much to the bottle. Thanks for showing.

Hi Andy, Your perfume is a fabulous find!! The earlier Lundberg pieces are pretty collectible on their own. The engraved piece is a little more unusual, as they do not really do engraved work any longer. I think the vast majority of engraved pieces you will find by them are paperweights. Engraved perfumes are a little tougher to come by. Peggy collects perfumes and we recently purchased a newer (2003) piece by Lundberg.
Your find is worth, at a minimum, 4 or 5 times what you paid for it!!

Thanks all,
i will enjoy owning this and showing it off for a while, i think, however, it should go to a
collector some time in the future! ;)
Best wishes to all,
