Evening All!
This little vase is just three and a half inches tall. Is it Davidson, possibly? (Again) I haven't seen one before.
Your opinions and/or facts eagerly awaited.
Thanks, as ever.

Stu, can you tell us what the colours are please? The bottom looks gold on my screen, with an ivory (possibly opalescent) upper part. Is that right?

Hi Anne
The bottom is a pale amber colour and the top part is opalescent. The bottom has a thin smear of the upper part's opalescence but only in parts where the texture is raised.
Thank you for any help!

Stu, I don't think Davidson made an amber opalescent glass, in fact it's one of the less-common colours I seem to recall. Someone on the board will most likely be able to point you in the right direction though... fingers crossed. It's a gorgeous item!

I have had several of these over the years in yellow pearline and my first thought would have been Davidson or Henry Greener , but as Anne said Davidson did not make this colour but Henry Greener did, I think Henry Greener made quite a large range of items in this colour from baskets , plates and I have even had a signed lidded butter dish in this colour although in a different pattern, so I cannot be 100% sure but my best bet on your shell would be Henry Greener unless someone else tells you other wise

Anne & Roy - thank you both very much.
It's lovely to be able to look at my items and have a better idea of their origins.
