After yet another fairly fruitless day trawling the charity shops.. the very last one had a nice little surprise for me
A Michael Harris signed Isle of wight footed paperweight for just £3...... it has a big sticker covering the base which i couldnt get off in the shop as it must have been there for sometime which read Menstral cycle swirl paperweight :-X (very odd) I paid my £3 and as soon as i got it out to the car used my sons jumper ( >:D) to get it off with some water and there it was Michael Harris Isle of wight.. a little scratched but nothing serious
Now comes my problem do i sell and make a quick profit or do i keep with the rest of my Harris/Mdina/Isle of wight collection :-\. Admittedly i do already have one which is almost identical in purple and white which i bought at a boot sale 3 maybe 4 years ago for £2.50 (well paid £5 for that and a golden amber whitefriars weight which i sold for £15) ;D the new one is on the left.... they look so happy together
also in the same shop a nice cellery vase for 79p but will post that later once ive had a good look at it and this one is a darker purple white and green..
cheers
