Hello, the vase is 35cm high, quite heavy, looks like its good quality to my untrained eye - and the colour in the photo is what the vase actually is. I would love to find out the age/maker/even value if possible. Most importantly just the maker would do! thanks, Kerry

Could we see a photo of the base please? (and welcome to the GMB btw!) :)

Hi, am not sure how to add to my first post, so here are some more photos for the nice person who welcomed me and asked for a photo of the base of the vase. I will have to get used to using the forums! cheers, Kerry.

Hi Kerry, I've merged your two threads for you. I can understand that it's a bit tricky when you join a new forum, but to add new photos to any thread, simply click on 'Reply' and add them exactly like you did the first time. It's basically just Replying to yourself! ;) Well done on taking good photos and uploading them so well. A lot of people fall at that first hurdle! ;D
I was trying to think what your vase might be, and I'm leaning towards it being new production, but hopefully someone will be able to offer you some solid information before long. :)

Kerry welcome to the board. I have to ask, are these your own photos please, as they carry an eBay watermark? If they are pics you've taken for your own use on eBay that's fine, but if they are someone else's, e.g. from something you've seen for sale on eBay and want to know about we'll need to remove them for copyright reasons. If the latter's the case let us know and add a link to the sale listing, and we'll remove the pics from the board.

OOOHHHH so sorry - they are eBay pics! I do that a lot, use the eBay pics of something I have bought as they usually are much better than the ones I could take (that and I have to borrow a camera!). Pls take them off before I get myself or the site into trouble, again, very sorry, I will know better in future, regards Kerry.
P.S. I will just have to stop buying so many collectables and put the money towards a camera instead! :o

You could just ask the seller for permission to use the pics.

Also, as Anne said earlier, you can just post a link to the auction and we can go look at it..
