Hi,
Am sorting out our glass and naturally have come across a few which are still unidentified.
Not sure about this one, or even why I bought it? From what I can gather (my books, and this site), it may be ASEDA. I am puzzled as to what it would be used for-It is quite large for a drinking glass- 7" tall.
Can anyone add a little more please.....??
TIA - M & S

I would say more likely Czech perhaps Borske Sklo; that clear glass is quite yellowish and I don't Aseda clear was.

Hi Christine
You have no idea how much that pleases me. If I recall correctly, at the time of purchase, it vaguely reminded me of Borske, due to the patterning, and I have recently had a nice run on spotting and buying Borske Balls.
But I decided not to mention it in the original post for fear of looking silly, as this pattern is more criss-crossed.
Anyway took the vase/glass out in the daylight and it isn't as clear or white as it could be..... as you say.
Cant resist but to add a photo of my Borske's....
Thanks Sharron

I could be wrong...

Funny kind of hybrid vase...kind of Scandinavian bubbles, Czech style top with Empoli-ish flavour green and styling... :-\
