Just dug out my piano feet and written round the edge it says....R H Thomas. Inventor.Kidsgrove, does this mean anything to any one?Keith.

An American collector would probably pay you a lot for that/them (if this is one of four). Bernard had one, he may have found something out

I had one of these a while back and a set of 4 , I believe they may have been made at a glass bottle works , the four that I sold did not go for a huge amount http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,16058.msg94313.html#msg94313 (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,16058.msg94313.html#msg94313)

Thanks for the replies, have got four, one damaged, only paid a pound I think, what did yours sell for if you don't mind me asking?Keith.
-
Can not remember for sure but 4 in good condition went for about £30.00 I think , a bargin for a pound,

That surprises me. I've sold more ordinary ones for more than £7.50 each. I think the trick is to use the word insulator when selling.
-
I also think selling one at a time would have been a better option as 4 together is quite a lot of weight and not every one wants 4 some collectors are happy with one
