Hi
This is my first post on this part of this wonderful message board so hope it goes ok.
The two pics are of a bowl given to my mother Christmas about 1964/65
It is 15 cm high at the back and 12cm at the front. Diameter at top 19cm.
Base is marked as shown.
Any information would be helpful

Hello, Not my greatest area of expertise, but I believe the piece is a Per Lutken piece for Holmegaard. Some one else may be able to verify dates of production by the production number and design name if it has one.

Welcome to the board.
Your (Mum's?) vase is by Holmegaard, Denmark and designed by Per Lutken. The date you suggest is good for these pieces. I'm sure if Nic (pinkspoons) is about later he will be able to give you all the detail - it's his area of expertise.

Wow - 2 brilliant replies just as I was browsing another part of the message board!
Yes it was my mum's but she died 4 years ago and this year I have had to move my dad into sheltered accomodation so I am a bit overwhelmed by boxes of 'stuff' especially glass as that was her favourite item. She had lots of ceramics too.

Yup, Per Lütken for Holmegaard - 'Thule' series vase, designed 1957 and in production until 1974. The signature style (form number rather than date) denotes that it's of later production, from post-1963/4.
