Hello!

I am wondering if anyone can tell me who the artist is of this gorgeous paperweight...

Dear Miss Jones:

The only ppws I've seen from Kosta were by the Warffs. The ppw looks like it could be by Warff; however, the signature looks nothing like Warff.

Truly,

Mr. D

Hi, I've seen paperweights from most of the designers at Kosta, the Warff ones are easy to identify off their looks
(especially the "cave painting" style also seen in Satava paperweights, and the mushrooms),
same with some by Bertil Vallien (one type is oval, flatter, a dark center blob with two  lines across).

I've a hard time reading the spelling on this one tho.

Miss J:

What are nymbers are on the ppw? At first I thought there were only four numbers, but, on looking again, it seems there might be five.

It might be worth emailling Kosta Boda directly quoting the number.  They were most helpful a few years back about a Warff paperweight I have.
