I think Keith is not alone I have also been tangoed. This vase is quite heavy. It is smooth inside but rough feeling because of the texture on the exterior. The base is flat and slightly mottled with some slight wear. Could anyone help me ID it please?

Absolutely *not* Tango! Tango relates to a specific type of glass not to any orange coloured glass and yours isn't Tango for sure. To see what is Tango read this: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,1697.0.html

Hi there
i saw one of these a couple of weeks back the guy told me it was Whitefriars which i can say with one million per cent certainty IT IS NOT whitefriars. I didnt really pay much attention at the time, but it this painted or dipped? as if i remember correctly the actual glass is not coloured

Michelle thats right the glass is not coloured orange it looks to have been dipped. The colour has come off in a couple of places small but visible to the naked eye.

Has anyone got any more thoughts on the maker of this vase please. I would say it is a modern piece last 20years or so but could be wrong.
Thank you
