Title: ID for this large Amethyst glass basket with twisted handle please?

Hi again!
Also wondered ifanyone can ID this large Amethyst glass basket with an applied clear glass twisted handle. About 26cm tall including the handle, bowl is 14cm (max) deep and about 23cm across. It has what appear to be 2 mould lines on it and a ground pontil mark. The 'pimples' are pushed through from the inside.

I would suspect very recent production from China, as I have seen the same style in cranberry with the identical handle. The pontil tends to be ground to gray but not at all fully polished.
