Title: Old green vase, or just green?
Post by: glasshole on October 23, 2005, 01:44:28 PM
Hai Guys,

I have this little green vase-isch object. I myself think it is hundreds of years old, but my friends laugh at me. My question ofcourse is: Is this item old or not?

Thanks very much!

Hi, I have a large amber vase similar in many ways to your green. On that basis alone, I doubt very much if yours is very, very  old.

I note from your other post regarding  [Andries]  'Copier or copied', that a 'guest' has replied in Dutch. I wonder if you would be so kind as to translate it for us?

I have asked my niece to do so but she may not reply for a while as she works for an international company and travels a lot.

I am also interested in your choice of 'Monikker' [ nick-name or 'identifier' ]
Glasshole sounds really interesting, what is the Dutch translation? What is the derivation? Sounds like you are a glassy 'black hole'!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers Ruth.

i advised him to opt for another name as in classic English tradition the use of the A word will result in an icy silence.
