Title: Carnival glass Vase - ID = Dugan-Diamond's "Beauty Bud"

Carnival glass vase found at car boot, I have had a look and cannot find out the maker , help please, height 8.75" 22cm

Thank you Glen  :hiclp: I did look through the vases but because of other items in the same pattern was not easy to find, I think Carnival glass must have the best record for ID near 100% thanks again

Glen, do you know as much about carnival non-glass ware (i.e. statuettes, etc.) as you do about carnival glass? I have a large (12 - 14 inches) figurine of a scottish lass in what I believe is carnival ware, but am not sure. Or do you know someone who would know? Pictures would be available eventually.

Carolyn ~ Carnival (in the context that I write / research / collect it) is iridised, press-moulded (patterned) glass.

I'm not certain what you mean by "carnival non-glass ware" unless perhaps you're referring to what we sometimes (here in the UK) call "fairings" - i.e. items given away at fairs and carnivals. If that is what you mean, then I'm afraid I know nothing at all about it. Carnival Glass is my "thing" (and for the record, only a teeny, tiny proportion of what we call Carnival Glass was ever given away as prizes at fairs and carnivals  :o)

Well dang. That is precisely what I am referring to (fairings) and I was so hoping there would be a connection.  :-[ Oh well. Better luck next time.  :chky:

Nope, doesn't look like it. I will post pictures shortly. Have to wait for my husband as it is too high for me to get down to take pictures of right now.  ::)
