Keith,
i cant help much, but i have seen a couple of others, taller, theres something about them that
looks a little Maltese, i dont think mdina , possibly Phoenician, but no signatures.
They are interesting, maybe one day a label or sigbature will turn up?
Cheers
Andy

Thanks Andy,will do a search on those,ta,Keith.

You may get lucky Keith, i have a large disorganised reference library of Maltese glass in my head,
but i have my doubts about this. ;D
Theres a chance one may have been discussed on here before, maybe somone will remember,
good luck,
Andy

Does look familiar but usually as a cylindrical vase.

Frank, were you thinking of this one?

(By the way, to find it, I searched on Ivo as the author, and the word 'ugliest' ;D I don't necessarily agree, but it was such a memorable post. :) )

Thanks for replies, the link to an earlier post was interesting just a shame there were no conclusions,Keith.

Seeing that old thread again, I am disinclined to it being the same source.

Hi,
I agree with Frank, I first thought of that series of bark vases when I saw the photos above, but the inside is too white on the bowl and the blue/turquoise colouring seems to go powdery as is dissipates - not at all like the vases in the other post.
Still no conclusion I'm afraid.

The base differs as well, but I'm pleased it was the right thread :)
