Title: Chribska or Chinese?

  Hi,

     I was given this vase about 6 years ago by a friend, he said at the time that he had bought it as Chribska though I've always had my doubts, it weighs 1.2 kg (2lb 9oz) and stands about 23 cm high (9.25 inches) the colours shown are a fairly good representation (well at least on my screen!)

   Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi John

The base looks like Chribska, at least from the side.  The weight is similar to my Chribska centrepice, give or take 100g, and I thought (rightly or wrongly) that the centrepiece was a - kind of - opened up version of the vase. 

(But I have still got big "L" plates).

Hope you get a better answer soon.  :)

  Wow!! thats the fastest ID I've ever had! ;D Thank you both very much! :hiclp: I lost all my books last year when I moved back from the New Forest and just don't have the cash to replace them at the moment, so am having to rely on the good nature of members here!
