Title: Is this Holmegaard Vase by Per Lutken

I am not familiar with Holmegaard glass but bought this beautiful piece at a thrift shop.  It is a beauty and was a steal at $2.  It is signed on the bottom and I believe it is a Per Lutken.  Can anyone confirm?  And tell me more about this design and color?  Thanks

Its a bit hard to see from the picture (yours come up quite small the same as mine do) can you make out any of the lettering/numbers??
it certainly was a bargain, beautiful piece  :mrgreen:

Yup, cased Amethyst vase by Per Lütken, designed April 1955. Nice find.

Here's mine in uncatalogued Safir / Sapphire Blue.

It is indeed a lovely buy.  The following site is very good for Danish glass.

Hej Ross and thanks for the kind words.

and just to let you know that I last weekend expanded my website a lot with the "Danish Glasswork Resource Museum" hope it will be of use from time to time, when trying to sort out what is Danish Glass or not.
