I got this as part of a joblot bought from a dealer-friend from Denmark. Apparently originally acquired from a high-end gallery some years ago, with the artist name slipping his memory, but it proved unsaleable due to a huge burst bubble on the base. So I got it tossed in with some Danish glass and ceramics and I'm currently using it for sweeties! ;D
It's very coarse and naïve in style, predominantly green and bubbly with striations of brown, black and white-opal glass.
The base is signed, but the bit they used to engrave it with was unsuitably chunky and the scrawl illegible - and it probably caused the large burst bubble! Having cross-referenced it for possibilities against Danish studio-glass artists I know of, I've come up with nothing. The date appears to be 1975.
Any ideas gratefully received!

Nice lump of glass. ;D
I would happily keep my sweeties in it too.
