Title: Orange and black vase, ID help please

Hi,
I bought this vase today in a filthy state, after a good clean, hey presto a very vivid orange cased glass vase ( picture hasn't caught the true colour its a real tangerine orange ) Stands about 7" tall, no pontil or marks on the base. It was with a load of 1960s gear so i was thinking it would be from round about 1960's. Go on how wrong am I ;D

cased in what? It does not show in the picture.

Hi Ivo, sorry about the bad pictures, the base shows a very thin layer of clear glass, cased maybe the wrong term to use, sorry, i'm guessing its hard enough trying to help without us amatures confusing the issue further!! cheers for persevering, David
