Can this style of painting and gilding be attributed to a particular factory?Keith.

No, I don't think you'd have luck pinning it to any particular factory. it's nice, but a number of makers did this sort of thing. probably 1860's -1880's bohemian. It's considered quality though. I am sure thats why they put the base on it when they lost the last one.
