Title: heavy purple bowl with stag engraving,signed dc,dartington?

hi this bowl is very heavy,lilac colour with a stag engraved on it.i have seen these style bowls with dartington emblems on and caithness too.
it is also signed dc to the base,would this be dartington?

In that colour I bet it's neodymium glass and Caithness. Some of the Caithness stuff was signed by the engraver

Frank's Scotland's Glass site shows this colourway, and I "think" he has info about the engravers there too, so it's worth a looksee:

hi anne thanks for the links,the colour and shape is right to be caithness,and i think the DC signature could be a DG which would mean it was signed by the engraver david gulland. :thup:
