Title: Wedgwood-esque Optic-Ribbed Grey Vase ID = Frank Thrower for Wedgwood
Post by: Pinkspoons on October 05, 2009, 10:53:44 AM
I bought this rather by accident - a poorly-executed photograph on an auction left this looking rather brown-tinted in such a manner that it appeared to be 1930s Holmegaard.

Alas, when it arrived - sigh - it was grey, with a tint of amethyst visible in the thicker parts. It rather reminds me of 1980s Wedgwood glass.

It's 17cm tall, fire-polished rim, applied foot, and has internal optic-ribbing.

Thankfully it was just pennies, and it will no doubt be heading for the 'Oops' pile of glass I have in the shed awaiting the next clear-out carboot.   ::)

No-one's offered to buy this yet?!  :)

Nic, if you PM me your price I would consider it.  I have gone a bit FT mad of late.
