Title: Sandwich tray
Post by: Margi on October 06, 2009, 12:12:05 PM
I have also had this one tucked away it is a clear (think sandwich tray) the flowers and the handles are frosted.  A new piece possibly?  Also does anyone know who made it.  May even be a department store item.

Hi Margi and Dirk, may I add that this is not Saxony, but
Walther Glass of Bad Driburg/Siebenstern (Western)Germany,
established by Horst Walther in 1951 after he left Schwepnitz/GDR

Thanks Pamela.  I have just been reading how they are still in operation today producing giftware hence the reason why I thought this looked like it had come from a department store.
