Post by: BRADBURY7308 on October 07, 2009, 05:47:38 PM
Purchased this item today and as soon as i got it home i thought why did you buy this for £2 i seemed to remember they were all the rage a few years back maybe cheap imitations to quality designed unusual items by good glassmakers possibly scandinavian. The item is fairly light in weight compared to its size and has a kicked in base with swirls circulating the base in a nice sea green colour not sure of why it has a small recess half way down it?? Measures around 12" tall and has a base of 6.25" diameter any ideas?? :spls2:

I've no idea of its provenance, but the recess in its side is an ice pocket for keeping the contents cool when filled with ice cubes.
