Title: Sowerby Tumbler?
Post by: traditionaljazz on October 12, 2009, 10:48:32 PM
Dear Everyone at the Glass Message Board, Currently on ebay under "antique glass signed sowerby c1905 round pot" I have one of these for some time and was wondering if this is a tumbler not a jar of some sort. The design is of a hobnail type pattern round the body. Only the Fifty Pence Piece shaped pattern on its own. On the star base in the middle is the sowerby emblem. At the top there is no pattern but it tapers in slightly like a jar. Regards Traditional Jazz.
