Title: WMF biscuit barrel or tobacco jar

got this one today, it measures 6" high to the lid and 10" in total, it has 8 side's,  not to sure if it is a biscuit barrel or tobacco jar, no mark's on the base only on the rim, its silverplate on brass, anyone have any idea on the age? i'm not to hot on silverplate marks

biscuit barrel, around 1910. The I/O mark is "silver plate extra heavy - export quality"
