At last!!!!! My first proper piece of uranium glass from my local charity shop!!! Woo-hoo!! It's been a long time a-coming.
Just one thing though... who made it? I have had a bit of a search since I came home, but now seek your assistance.
With thanks in advance,
Stu.

Thanks. What a nuisance that it hasn't been identified yet. Oh well, I can love it for it's age and also the fact that it glows like crazy.
Thanks again - great work!

GGGRRRRRR!!!! >:D :ac1:
Just realised it's damaged, so it's off to ebay! Such a brief affair! :24:

oh thats a shame, how is it damaged??
let me know the item number when you do put it on wouldnt mind watching see what it goes for

Two fleabites to underside of base and one of the top lobes has been bashed off (so neatly that I only just noticed!)
Will be listing it in Marketplace here tomorrow night, and will remember to let you know the number.
:) :) :)

The trick is to run your hands (gently) over every part of the piece, but especially the rim, foot and protruding sections of the pattern, because you'll always feel a chip before you see it. After that, hold it to the light to check for the refractions that come with a fracture. If you get into the habit of doing that as soon as you get to a piece, you'll save yourself heartache.

It's rare to find a piece like this without damage. You'd be damaged if you were over 100! The fleabites are generally acceptable; the missing lobe less so
