Title: modern matt grey green opaque swirl
Post by: Ivo on October 20, 2009, 04:21:25 PM
I met these guys today, all stickered by a contemporary decoration firm (PTMD Collection). Blown, no pontil (sheared at the neck) and in a curious slag glass of fully opaque grey mixed with dark green, then satinated.

Does anyone know where these come from?

Amazing find! Not quite convinced that this glass comes from a Chinese ceramics making company, though. The importer is a large outfit and they get their stuff from all over the world...

Right - most of the searches I ran just mentioned that they import from the "far east". I'm sure if they are big players, they probably import from all over - and of course I'm not willing to join that website just to see a few more bills of lading. :) That's an interesting site, though.
