Title: Cobalt blue Spattled dish? make pls
Post by: Elmwood on October 20, 2009, 08:14:46 PM
Hi all,

Am a little embarrassed about posting this and our other purchase (next post). Mike thought it had an interesting base? (crude and amateurish)  Any thoughts/info would be welcome, even if its to say modern Chinese. The photo looks blurred but I thinks its the mottled effect.  Nice colour though.

Thanks Sharron

I wonder if they come from the same place as those fingery vases, the ones with the pulled tops. They seem to come in yucky brown and cobalt too and have the same rough bases. Are they relatively lightweight? My thoughts would be Eastern Europe
