Title: Another 'Pseudo'-Berlin Bowl With Fish Handles & stepped plinth - ID = probably STS Abel
Post by: pamela on October 21, 2009, 09:53:04 PM
I might recall that we have discussed this amber bowl many years ago:

http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/tafelaufsaetze/06227.html

Now I was asked to attribute the same one -which I still cannot  ::)

beautiful green with unusual plinth, perfectly fitting 'into' the base of it:

After such a long time, is there someone out there knowing more about this pattern, please?

 :D
TIA

I just bought this bowl in pink same plinth in Hay on Wye today....I thought when I looked at the bottom of the bowl it was exactly like a ST Abel bowl I have. (same as Walther Berlin one)

Definitely think this could be by ST Abel...found a Berlin bowl to compare to my Abel one and see the pattern in the base is different....the geometric flower is the same on the Abel one as on this Fish handle bowl.... ???
