Title: Gondola dish? P Lutken? Id pls
Post by: Elmwood on October 22, 2009, 05:24:11 PM
Hi all,

This was one of our very early buys, and we paid far too much for it on-line......

Can anyone confirm whether it is Per Lutken, or even Scandinavian.  It has quite a large bubble inside the glass which  my photos havn't picked up, would this have not rendered it a seconds, (so to speak).

All info and points of reference always well received..... Many thanks M & S

I'm not terribly 'up' on the various indicators for the many factories that made these, but I know that bowls of a similar nature were made by Bayel (France) and Magnor (Norway), amongst others.

It looks like a Magnor piece to me, although, as Nic suggests, other companies made similar pieces. What are the dimensions? It looks a little larger than the other Magnor pieces I've seen.
