Title: Czech or Italian or ? cased glass basket

The white outer layer of glass is opaque.  The transparent inner layer is a light tan.  Any opinions as to age or origin?  Thanks for looking.

Late 19C, early 20C Bohemian,  I would say, given where you are. possibly English, but less likely. What's the pontil mark like? Have you tried it under a UV light?

It is a broken pontil.  I should have known you'd ask - no UV reactivity.  Thanks for your comments.
