Title: Is this Whitefriars?

I was sure this was a Whitefriars vase until I went to look it up in my books.
It is 6.75" tall (172mm) and 3.75" across the top (95mm), the colour looks to me like either the Bronze colour that Whitefriars made for Wuidart, or their Twilight. It has heavy internal optic ribbing, and I thought it was a James Hogan and William Wilson design from c. 1937 or an earlier design for Wuidart. It is very well made, and has a slightly concave base with a ground out and polished pontil.  Can anybody confirm what it is please?

Hi,
looked at a silimar optic ribbed vase recently, if it is whitefriars it should have a clear glass casing..? difficult to tell exactly from photo.

Just for the record, as far as I am aware, the Whitefriars colour Twilight was never cased in clear.

As for this vase, I would say not Whitefriars, because of the rim shape and more numerous optic ribbing than would be found on a W/f vase of this similar type.

Hi Bernard. Here is a picture of the base. It is just slightly concave and has  a large round  polished  pontil.  Hard to photograph.
